‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ with live shadow cast set at Milton Theatre Sept. 23

September 18, 2017

It isn't just a movie ... it's an experience. The interactive "Rocky Horror Picture Show" with live shadow cast at the historic Milton Theatre is now a Delmarva institution. And it's coming back for another night of mad crazy fun at 9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23.

The movie, which has been entertaining audiences for the past four decades, was critically panned on its initial release but is now considered a cultural phenomenon. The story centers on a young couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. They discover the head of the house is Frank N. Furter, a mad scientist who actually is an alien transvestite in the midst of performing maniacal experiments.

This time, the show is open to interested cast members. For more information about being part of the ensemble performing on stage, email miltontheatreshows@gmail.com. Virgin kits (Rocky Horror props) will be available for purchase at the event. Tickets are $5-$10. To purchase tickets, go to MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038.
