‘Every Bad Thing’ author event set Sept. 13

Author Shannon Gill Burnett will sign copies of “Every Bad Thing” from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach. 

“Every Bad Thing” examines the life of Danielle Smith from her childhood to her college years, throughout her marriage, family life and ultimate demise after her husband leaves her on their 20th wedding anniversary. Written from the perspective of the underdog and a female heroine, “Every Bad Thing” examines the impetus of people and what truly drives them to commit heinous acts of violence. The book is about a woman who is holding on by a thread, and what happens when that thread breaks.
