‘Wild Mountain Thyme’ to open Jan. 8

The Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “Wild Mountain Thyme,” starting Friday, Jan. 8. This wildly romantic comedy about conflicts in an Irish family features an impressive cast and beautiful cinematography.

Headstrong farmer Rosemary Muldoon, played by Emily Blunt, has her heart set on winning the love of her neighbor Anthony Reilly, played by Jamie Dornan. The problem is, Anthony seems to have inherited a family curse, and he remains oblivious to his beautiful admirer. When his father, played by Christopher Walken, plans to sell the family farm to his American nephew, played by Jon Hamm, Anthony is jolted into pursuing his dreams.

Screening times are 2  and 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Jan. 8 and 9; 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 10; 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 13; and 2 and 5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14. Admission is $8 for members and $11 for nonmembers.

Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online at rehobothfilm.com. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
