Active shooter response training set April 21

The Georgetown Police Department and Georgetown Chamber of Commerce will host an active shooter response training event at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, at the Microtel in Georgetown. Georgetown Police Lt. Tom Tyndall will lead the presentation.

Recent national tragedies are reminders that the active shooter risk is real and can happen anywhere. Taking a few steps now can help people react quickly when every second counts.
