Al Fasnacht, the senior member of the Fasnacht family that has owned and operated Funland on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk since 1962, and author Chris Lindsley signed copies of Lindsey’s new book "Land of Fun: The Story of an Old-Fashioned Amusement Park for the Ages.”
Lindsley, a former Funland employee, published the book, a history of the amusement park, in May. Held June 21, the two men were set up at the prize claiming area behind the kiddie boats on the Delaware Avenue side of the park. The happy crowd snaked back toward the carousel that adorns the cover of the book.
