Amen for the Rehoboth Post Office upgrade

April 5, 2024

A special thanks to Suzie Martin and Cindy Lovett for their leadership efforts to upgrade and bring into ADA compliance Rehoboth’s historic post office. It will become an inclusive building for those of us who cannot use the front steps.

We have been banished to a hidden ramp for the back door. Certainly not intentional when designed, but it surely makes us feel like second-class citizens.

I believe adding the Rehoboth Post Office to the historic register and upgrading the building to include a front-accessible, compliant entrance will be a win for all Rehoboth citizens.
