AmVets Post 2 raises funds in support of injured coworker

Staff at Sussex AmVets Post 2 and the Skeeter Strong Foundation recently hosted an all-you-can-eat benefit on behalf of co-worker Leah Mader, who was injured in a July motorcycle accident.

AmVets Post 2 team members leading the organization efforts were Tori Leek, Bethany Wade and Britanie Farren.

To help defray medical expenses and cover lost income, a total of $6,105 was raised for Mader and her family.
