Andrew Showell named KSI Outstanding Staff Person of the Year

Andrew Showell of Georgetown was honored as KSI Outstanding Staff Person of the Year 2018, receiving the Clifford T. Crouch Excellence in Service Award during KSI’s 57th Annual Awards Dinner at the Modern Maturity Center.

Showell is a direct support professional at KSI who believes in teamwork. He makes it a point to speak with and get to know each person for whom he provides direct support. He believes it’s his relationship with each person that builds trust and success through role modeling. He is well liked for leading group discussions and presenting engaging activities that teach while being fun.

KSI CEO B. Craig Crouch thanked Showell for the outstanding job he does for the agency. He also received a Senate Tribute sponsored by Sen. Dave Wilson, R-Bridgeville, and a House of Representatives Tribute co-sponsored by Rep. Charles Postles, R-Milford, and Rep. Bryan Shupe, R-Milford.

KSI is a nonprofit agency providing vocational training, employment, supported employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
