Catfish, bluegills, sunnies and even a turtle were just some of the creatures caught at the Andy & Opie Kids Fishing Tournament at Milton Memorial Park June 9. A record turnout of more than 200 kids took part in the fourth annual event that avoided the forecast rain.
The event was free to children up to 17 years old. Winners were determined by length of fish caught between 9 a.m. and noon. Awards were given to age groups for both boys and girls.
