The recent thefts involved several vehicles during the overnight hours.
After recent thefts near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware State Police are warning people about the need to secure their vehicles.
Police said someone recently entered several unsecured vehicles during the overnight hours in the Sea Air Village community and took property from inside them before fleeing.
To prevent these types of thefts, police said people should lock their vehicles with the windows closed, and remember to remove valuables. To report suspicious activity, call 911.
