Animal blessing held in Rehoboth

Lutheran Church of Our Savior offered a Blessing of the Animals Oct. 5 near Rehoboth Beach.
Blessing the animals can be traced back to St. Francis and his love for all creatures. Families bring pets of all sizes, shapes and sorts to be blessed with a prayer something like, “God made all animals, and they were good and loved.”
