Anna Mary Yurek, talented gardener

Anna Mary Yurek, 90, of Seaford passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018, at her home. She was born in Felton Oct. 2, 1927, daughter of the late John Sr. and Mary Barta.

Mrs. Yurek was a go-getter, never losing her sense of adventure. She loved traveling and going to casinos, and she was a talented gardener, evidenced by her beautiful flower gardens. Mrs. Yurek was a loving and devoted aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m., at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, a member of the Parsell Funeral Family, 609 East King St., Seaford, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, South Market Street, Blades.
