Annette E. Allman, restaurant manager

Annette E. Allman, 58, of Lewes, passed away peacefully at home Friday, Oct. 15, 2021, after a fierce battle with breast cancer.

Annette was born Jan. 3, 1963, at Milford Memorial Hospital, daughter of Joyce and James (Howard) Adkins Jr., and she graduated from James H. Groves High School. Annette was a manager at McDonald’s, Arby’s and Burger King restaurants for the majority of her life. In her later years, she enjoyed being with her family and friends, volunteering at the Lewes-Rehoboth Moose Lodge, advocating for breast cancer awareness and attending country concerts.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce (Phillips) Adkins; daughters Elizabeth (Lizz) Allman of Lewes and Jacqueline (Jacky) Allman of Milford; grandsons Cohen Bonneville and wife Gabrielle Renzi; Damian Jewell of Milford; her Moose family; and countless other family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her Daddy, James H. Adkins Jr. of Lewes.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the Lewes-Rehoboth Moose Lodge, 28971 Lewes Georgetown Hwy., Lewes.
