Groome UM, New Zion AME, and Lewes Presbyterian churches gathered May 4 in Lewes for the Annual Blessing of the Fleet, Bright sun and windy conditions didn't deter the crowd. Elizabeth Sparks and Nora Carle, singers from Cape Henlopen High School, offered the national anthem while Irene Hazzard, pianist, played the Mariners Hymn.
