Jonathan Orlando, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC, has joined Aquacare East Lewes – King Street Row as its new clinical director.

A physical therapist with more than 10 years of experience, the Long Island, N.Y. native earned his bachelor’s and doctorate degrees at SUNY Stony Brook.

He received his certification in manual therapy in 2018, became a board-certified orthopedic specialist in 2021 and is currently a fellow in training with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

He has an extensive background in orthopedics and physical rehabilitation, with specialized training in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which focuses on assessing each patient, creating a treatment plan, and preventing future injury to the back, neck, arms and legs.

Orlando has experience in spinal manipulation, blood flow restriction and selective functional movement assessment.

He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and frequently provides education to physical therapy students in his role as a clinical instructor.

“I am proud to join the team at Aquacare, because everyone here is like a family,” Orlando said. “We are all focused on helping our patients move better, relieve their pain and get them back to enjoying their lives.”

In his free time, Orlando is always looking forward to a day at the beach with his wife and three kids.
