Art exhibit to open at Lavender Fields Sept. 3

Lavender Fields in Milton will host an exhibit by Delaware Shore Artists from Thursday, Sept. 3, to Monday, Sept. 14.

The public is invited to a reception with the artists from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 6. Admission is free. Masks and safe distancing will be practiced; light refreshments will be served.

Art and nature lovers can meet the six local artists and view more than 40 of their original works. Exhibiting  artists are Jane Duffy, Jane Knaus, LaVerne McIntyre, Beverly Morgan, Margie Spaulding and Phyllis Zwarych. All artwork is available for purchase. 

The exhibit will be displayed in the barn at Lavender Fields, which is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Lavender Fields Farm is off Route 9 between Lewes and Georgetown. From Five Points, go west on Route 9 about four miles, turn left at Cool Spring Road and proceed about one mile to Lavender Fields Farm on the right.
