Attorney General Jennings to address 14th RD Democrats June 11
The 14th Representative District Democratic Committee will meet Wednesday, June 11, at Iron Hill Brewery on Route 1 north of Rehoboth Beach. Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings will be the featured speaker.
The state’s top prosecutor, who has joined other attorneys general to oppose actions by the Trump administration, will discuss her efforts to protect the rights and liberties of citizens in Delaware and across the U.S. Jennings, who recently announced her campaign for a third term in 2026, has already helped win injunctions against executive orders to dismantle federal agencies, end birthright citizenship, restrict medical dollars and freeze federal funding for a number of programs in Delaware. She is currently working to restore $10 billion a year in federal money previously allocated to the state.
The program will begin at 5 p.m. with a Dutch treat dinner, followed by Jennings’ remarks at 6 p.m. and committee business at 6:30 p.m.
The 14th RD Committee represents Democrats who live in and around Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach. All registered Democrats are welcome to participate in 14th RD meetings. Those planning to attend the June 11 meeting should RSVP by Monday, June 9, to c.fruchtman@comcast.net.
