Author Emily Henry to discuss ‘Happy Place’ June 8
Bestselling author Emily Henry will join a live, online conversation about her new book “Happy Place” at 5 p.m., Thursday, June 8, hosted by Lewes Public Library and Browseabout Books.
“Happy Place” centers on a couple who broke up months ago and pretend to still be together for a weeklong vacation with their best friends. Knowing that it would be cruel to break their friends’ hearts during the last week they will ever have together at their vacation cottage, Harriet and Wyn lie through their teeth, while trying not to notice how desperately they still want each other. After years of being in love, how hard could it be to fake it for one week?
