Author Lisa Gardner to discuss new thriller at Lewes library

August 10, 2025

Author Lisa Gardner will take part in a discussion and signing of her latest novel, “Kiss Her Goodbye,” at 5 p.m., Monday, Aug. 18, at Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, presented by the library and Browseabout Books.

Missing persons expert Frankie Elkin returns in Gardner’s new thriller, traveling to Tucson, Ariz., to search for Sabera, a young Afghan mother whose disappearance has sparked concern among friends. Video shows Sabera walking away from the scene of a brutal double murder, and soon her husband and young child are in danger, too. Elkin must crack the code of the family’s chilling past before it is too late.

Gardner will be in conversation with acclaimed mystery and crime writer Alex Finlay, author of the national bestseller “If Something Happens to Me.” The event will also stream live online via Zoom.

In-person registrants are invited to come early for a meet-and-greet mixer with the author and interviewer between 4 and 4:50 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The author event will begin promptly at 5 p.m.

Registration is required, and participants will be asked to select in-person or online attendance. Visit tinyurl.com/AuthorEventsLPL or call 302-645-2733.
