Banquet brunch at Baywood Greens celebrates Cape’s 2025 hockey season

Cape celebrated the 2025 field hockey season with the presentation of individual awards. A brunch at Baywood Greens served as the venue. 

Varsity awards were: MVP:  Atia Sabbagh; Offensive MVP, Emily Wells; Defensive MVP, Ally Diehl and Mairead Rishko; Rising Star, Mikaela Gordan and Jordynn Bowe; Unsung Hero, Izzy Mekulski; Spirit Award, Regan Best; Most Improved, Grace Heers; Skoglund Award, Norah Block; Ivins Award, Avary Miller; Tough Cookie Award,  Ellen Ramsey; and Sportsmanship Award, Alysa McCarthy.

Junior varsity awards were: Offensive MVP, Emmilyn Swope; Defensive MVP, Natalie Arseneau; and Spirit Award, Daisy Hughes. 

Kate Austin was Henlopen Conference Coach of the Year. There were 11 Academic All-Americans. Regional NFHCA All-Americans were Atia Sabbagh and Avary Miller.
