Banquet-style dinner to benefit Children’s Organ Transplant Association Feb. 4
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware and the Sons of the American Legion Detachment will host a fundraiser for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at American Legion Milford Post 3, Milford Plaza, in Milford.
The fundraiser will include a banquet-style chicken parmesan dinner, a ticket auction, entertainment by Ken Huff and Mr. Goodwood, and a cash bar.
Children’s Organ Transplant Association is the premier organization providing fundraising assistance to transplant families for a lifetime. COTA is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, so funds raised to help meet transplant expenses are not considered income for families. The numbers are overwhelming, but community support can give hope to a transplant-needy child in Delaware.
