Barefoot Gardeners offer May 7 plant sale

The Barefoot Gardeners garden club of Fenwick Island is providing an opportunity for gardeners and gift-givers by hosting a plant sale Saturday, May 7. The site of the event is the corner of Coastal Highway and James Street, Bayside in Fenwick Island, and the sale will begin at 8 a.m. and run until 1 p.m.

Beautiful, healthy and disease-resistant flowering plants from Proven Winners that thrive in the coastal environment will be available for purchase, as well as, planted containers for personal or gift-giving pleasure. If bringing a picture of containers on a cell phone that need to be filled, garden club members will be happy to help transform them into a beautiful addition to the garden.

There will also be vegetable plants available for purchase. Garden club members will be on hand to provide advice and answers to questions related to the various plants.
