Bayhealth board member and retired Delaware Supreme Court Justice Randy J. Holland passed away March 15 at the age of 75, as announced by Delaware Courts officials. A dedicated public servant, Holland served the Bayhealth Inc. board of directors since July 2017.

“We were honored to have served alongside Randy these past five years,” said Gregory Moore, Bayhealth board chair. “His dedication to our community and the Bayhealth mission was second to none. We are all saddened by the news of his passing – our thoughts and prayers remain with his family during this time of loss.”

“Randy brought so much spirit, expertise and professionalism to the Bayhealth board,” said Terry M. Murphy, Bayhealth president and CEO. “During his time serving our organization, he helped us further our lifesaving work with expansion of vital patient services all across Kent and Sussex counties, including the launch of our graduate medical education program a year ago and the opening of our new state-of-the-art Bayhealth Hospital Sussex Campus three years ago. The people of Bayhealth will forever be grateful to Randy for his contributions and partnership in service to our community.”

Randy Holland is survived by his wife, Dr. Ilona Holland, son and daughter-in-law, and two granddaughters.
