Bayhealth honors outgoing foundation board members

December 27, 2025

The Bayhealth Foundation recently recognized the contributions of four board members who will be stepping down after years of committed service to the health system and the Delaware community.

Each leader played a meaningful role in advancing Bayhealth’s mission and strengthening philanthropic efforts across the region.

Departing members are Lori Ennis, ex officio member and president of the junior board of Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus; Jonathan Jones, foundation board vice chair and general manager of Atlantic Concrete Company; Drew Laroche, CPHIMS, founder of SecureNetMD, LLC; and retired Bayhealth cardiologist John W. Shuck, MD, who served the central Delaware community for 44 years and spent two decades as a Bayhealth Medical Staff member.

“Each of these individuals has given selflessly to Bayhealth, and to the patients and families we serve,” said Lindsay Rhodenbaugh, DMin, foundation president. “Their leadership, dedication and passion for our mission have helped shape the impact our foundation makes in our community.”

During their tenures, the outgoing members supported key initiatives, fundraising events and system growth efforts. Through her leadership of the junior board, Ennis helped advance volunteer-driven philanthropy and support for Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus. Shuck’s long-standing service as a clinician and former Bayhealth cardiologist exemplified a deep commitment to patient care that continued into his work on the foundation board. Jones and Laroche contributed professional expertise, strategic insight and consistent support of both large and small foundation events.

“They have each left a meaningful legacy,” Rhodenbaugh said. “From fundraising events to community partnerships to clinical insight, their contributions have elevated the work of the foundation and strengthened Bayhealth’s ability to care for our neighbors.”
