Bayhealth Neurosurgery opens Lewes office
Bayhealth recently announced that neurosurgeons James Mills, MD, and Dunbar Alcindor, MD, of Bayhealth Neurosurgery of Dover are now seeing patients at a second location at 34446-2 King Row Street in Lewes.
Mills joined Bayhealth in 2012. He completed his surgical internship and neurosurgical residency from West Virginia University. His special areas of interest are neuro-oncology, skull base and cerebrovascular surgery, and spine surgery. He is skilled in minimally invasive spine surgery and endoscopic surgery. Mills treats patients with intracranial bleeds, tumors, and spine and seizure disorders.
Alcindor recently completed a neurosurgical residency and fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Alcindor attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. His research has focused on a wide variety of topics including deep brain stimulation for movement disorders and neuro-oncology.
