Bayside Exteriors builds storage sheds for Immanuel Shelter

February 3, 2019

Immanuel Shelter Shelter President Janet Idema announced the completion of two new custom storage sheds for homeless guests’ belongings. Bayside Exteriors donated all labor and materials to build the sheds for free.

“We are so grateful for Bayside Exteriors’ willingness to help when we needed it,” said Idema. “We put out a Facebook post requesting help building sheds, and the next thing we knew, we were messaged by Andrew Lewandowski from Bayside Exteriors with the offer to build them for us!”

Guests who stay at the Immanuel Shelter each night are not allowed to bring in all their belongings because there is not enough room in the shelter’s current location. The sheds were needed to keep homeless guests’ belongings safe.

Bayside Exteriors is a family-owned and -operated roofing and siding contractor based in Lewes.
