Beach tote basketweaving class set April 26

Noted basket designer Denise Bendelewski will teach a unique beach tote basketweaving class from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, at Milton Arts Guild’s Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton.

Students will weave a beautiful reed beach tote on a wooden base with black leather handles. All tools and supplies will be supplied, and no prior weaving experience is necessary.

Bendelewski owns Magnolia Baskets in Magnolia, and A Great Day to Dye, which produces specialty-dyed reeds and canes for weaving. She regularly teaches classes in many states including Tennessee, North Carolina and Alaska.
