Beaches Seafood closes in Milton

September 7, 2025

Labor Day weekend served as last call for Beaches Seafood on Route 16 in Milton.

Prior to the weekend, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page that it would close after nearly 10 years in business.

In a statement, ownership said, “We met so many people that we now call friends. I also want to thank all of our loyal crew. They made our time together fun and enjoyable. I hope to see you all this weekend to celebrate our journey.”

Beaches took over the space formerly occupied by Gilligan’s in early 2021. Founded and owned by the Allan family, Beaches got its start on Route 1 in Lewes in 2016. The Lewes location closed in 2022. The family continued to run the Milton location until its closing.
