Beachy Bachelorette removes stress from party planning

Sisters launch theme-based decorating service
February 15, 2024

Sisters Natalie VanDerBogart and Bianca Carbone will launch theme-based decorating business Beachy Bachelorette this summer to take the stress out of party planning.

The pre-arrival decorating service is available to provide a perfect photo backdrop, balloon garlands, table landscapes and accessories for parties from Lewes to Ocean City, Md., VanDerBogart said.

“It’s an over-the-top, next-level experience,” VanDerBogart said.

Planning a bachelorette party and trying to surprise the bride-to-be can be stressful, Carbone said, noting she and her sister have navigated numerous parties as bridesmaids, brides and maids of honor.

“We come in and take that off someone else’s plate,” she said.

Clients can choose from several themes and can customize packages as needed, VanDerBogart said, and the party is all set before guests arrive. Accessories are rented, so the bachelorette’s friends don’t have to worry about purchasing items or what to do with them when the party's over, Carbone said.

Party themes are relevant and trendy while also authentic to the area, Carbone said, noting the Dewey disco theme is very popular.

The $800 Dewey Deluxe package for six attendees includes bridal suite decor of a balloon garland and backdrop; “Mrs.” marquee light-up letters; sun necessity kits with hair ties, sunscreen, lip balm and sunglasses; beach essentials like a cooler and beach games; and a party games package.

So many bachelorette parties take place in Dewey, VanDerBogart said, and the sisters hope to partner with other like-minded businesses to create a sense of community and provide the best weekend experience.

Both sisters live in the Philadelphia area and grew up vacationing in Rehoboth. After turning 21 and experiencing the area’s nightlife and numerous bachelorette parties every weekend, they saw a need for the Beachy Bachelorette service.

VanDerBogart has a background in corporate, large-scale event planning, and says she has a passion for perfecting the little details that make a party shine. VanDerBogart said she takes pride in crafting and personalizing projects and is excited to showcase her talents.

Carbone, an entrepreneur who has a health and fitness business of her own, said she goes above and beyond to personalize programs for her clients, and provide a sense of welcome and trust.

Together, the sisters say, they are the perfect duo to make a bachelorette party unforgettable.
