In celebration of International Women’s Day, March 8, Beebe Healthcare hosted the inaugural Girls Night Out event for women at the Atlantic Sands in Rehoboth Beach. Accomplished honorees from the community were recognized for their community involvement, and making a difference with values and leadership. A surprise guest, Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long, offered comments about empowering women and advancing healthcare in the state. Bridget Buckaloo, executive director for Women’s and Childrens’ Services, spoke about the accomplishments in women’s healthcare. The event offered real-time social media conversations on Twitter and Instagram.
