December 8, 2025

Beebe Healthcare introduced two new cardiology care clinicians to its growing team of heart specialists who practice at the Beebe Cardiovascular Institute.

Zaid Amin, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart and vascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, heart failure, valvular and peripheral vascular disease, and acute coronary syndromes.

He performs sophisticated coronary and peripheral interventions including diagnostic cardiac catheterization, advanced intracoronary imaging and coronary physiology. Amin is committed to providing the latest, most advanced procedures to help patients manage and improve their coronary and vascular medical conditions, with focus on optimizing long-term clinical outcomes as well as quality of life for his patients. He also consults with patients who are at high risk for coronary and vascular diseases, offering care and guidance for those whose goal is prevention.

“I was drawn to Beebe’s expanding cardiovascular program and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of interventional and structural heart services in a collaborative, forward-focused environment,” said Amin. “I am excited to be part of a team that shares my dedication to advancing cardiovascular care for the region.”

Amin sees patients at Beebe Cardiology Lewes as part of the Cardiovascular Institute. He performs procedures at the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus.

Jordan Prouse, MSN, FNP-C, is a cardiology nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive care for adult patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, chest pain, syncope, lipid disorders and hypertension. Prior to being hired for her current role, she worked at Beebe as a float team nurse on a per diem basis.

“I am proud to work for Beebe in an advanced provider role with the opportunity to collaborate closely with other clinical providers who specialize in advanced cardiac care,” said Prouse.
