Beebe L.O.V.E. Letter Award honors Justen Albright

March 21, 2022

Beebe Healthcare recently recognized Justen Albright as a recipient of its Living Our Values Every Day Letter Award.

Albright, a financial analyst for the Beebe Medical Foundation, was awarded this recognition for helping plan a successful fundraiser for Beebe’s Go Purple Fund.

“Justen stepped way outside of his comfort zone a couple of years ago when I asked him to create a young professionals group with me,” wrote Amy Popovich, Beebe Medical Foundation event coordinator, who submitted the nomination letter. “He jumped right in, though, and hosted two happy hour events where we brought together young professionals in our community.”

“Our young professionals group ultimately decided they wanted to host a semiformal gala to raise money for Beebe’s Go Purple Fund, fighting the opioid epidemic,” said Popovich. “Justen and I sat down to brainstorm and came up with celebrity bartending. We worked closely together to raise over $46,000 for Beebe’s Go Purple Fund, which will fight the opioid epidemic right here in Sussex County. Thank you, Justen, for being my partner on this one. You could have easily told me that this wasn’t the role of a financial analyst, but you stepped up in a big way. You have made a difference in changing and saving lives! You truly represent Beebe’s values!”

Through his efforts, Albright has demonstrated many of the Beebe values, including achieving amazing accomplishments through exceptional teamwork, and acting with passion and love for others to make a difference.

Awardees are announced in a surprise ceremony during which the committee visits the winner in their department and presents the award. Employees selected for the award receive a space in the parking garage for one month; a $100 gift card; 100 points toward Beebe L.O.V.E. Notes merchandise; 100th anniversary history book, “Two Men With a Dream: The Story of Beebe Healthcare”; a letter of congratulations and personal visit from members of the executive team; their photo added to the L.O.V.E. Letter wall plaque; a letter to the team member's director; and department recognition.
