For the past three years, one team member at the Bellmoor Inn & Spa has faced the many ups and downs of cancer treatment. Yet through it all, she has continued to show up for work with strength, resilience and an unwavering smile. A big reason why is the people who have supported her, especially the caregivers in the Infusion Suite at Beebe Healthcare’s Tunnell Cancer Center.
To honor the extraordinary care and support she has received, The Bellmoor Inn & Spa has made a heartfelt donation of $58,593 to Beebe Oncology Services as its 2024 Community Impact Beneficiary. Each year, the donation is made possible by The Bellmoor generously contributing 1% from every guest stay to a local organization.
“Our team member is part of our Bellmoor family, and the way the nurses, doctors and staff at Tunnell have cared for her has touched us all,” said Garth Huffman, Bellmoor Inn & Spa general manager. “We’ve seen firsthand how their compassion has given her strength, and we wanted to say thank you in a meaningful way.”
Among the many who made a difference is Brittany Bolen, RN, of the Tunnell Cancer Center, whose kindness and connection have helped transform a clinical setting into a place of comfort, hope and healing.
“Cancer care is about more than medicine; it’s about showing up for people in the hardest moments of their lives,” said Sean Flanigan, Beebe Medical Foundation gift officer. “We are incredibly moved by The Bellmoor team’s generosity and honored to be part of their story. This gift will make a real difference for patients and families who turn to us for care.”
The $58,593 donation will directly support those receiving services through Beebe Oncology, helping fund patient-centered programs, comfort items and care enhancements that bring dignity and hope to the cancer journey.
