Beebe Healthcare announced orthopaedic surgeon Nicholas Minissale, DO, MS, has joined its medical staff.

Specializing in both traditional and minimally invasive spine care, Minissale is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care, leveraging the latest surgical approaches and techniques to restore mobility and improve quality of life for his patients.

“I’m honored to join the tight-knit community of Southern Delaware and to support Beebe Healthcare’s mission by expanding access to comprehensive spine care,” said Minissale. “I look forward to serving our patients and contributing to their long-term health and well-being for many years to come.”

Minissale earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Jefferson Health in New Jersey, which gave him opportunities to learn at leading institutions including the Rothman Institute, Cooper University Hospital and Nemours Children’s Health.

Minissale’s training concluded with a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship at the prestigious Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle. There, he gained experience treating patients with spinal trauma, tumors, infections, degenerative conditions and complex adult spinal deformities. He has also completed the Global Spine Diploma Program, an internationally recognized training program designed to certify the next generation of spine surgery leaders worldwide.

Minissale is actively involved with several professional organizations focused on advancing the field of spine surgery through evidence- and research-based care, including the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AO Spine and the Cervical Spine Research Society.

Minissale performs procedures at Beebe and practices independently in the community at Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware, PA.
