Dewey Beer Company and Salisbury-based Burnish Beer Company are collaborating on a benefit beer for the industry they love.

Called All Together Beer, 100 percent of the proceeds are being donated to the Delaware Restaurant Association’s Emergency Action Trust to provide immediate emergency funding to hospitality workers. The trust, funded by private, community and individual donations, will distribute individual $500 grants.

The two breweries jumped at the chance.

"We live this industry,” said Dewey Beer Company Co-founder Brandon Smith. “We actually see our coworkers more than our families sometimes. It’s really important to us to be able to help out right now, when there are so many of our friends out of work.”

Randy Mills, Burnish Beer Company founder, said, “We’re all in this together. It’s more than empty words. When we think of the folks in this industry, strength, passion, endurance and family come to mind. Inspired by these great people, we’re proud to be a part of this worldwide collaboration to give back.”

All Together Beer is a 6.5% IPA brewed with mosaic, citra, simcoe, columbus and cascade hops.

Four pack, 16-ounce-cans will be available for $19 at Dewey Beer Co., 2100 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach. The beer went on sale May 6. There will also be limited distribution to stores in Delaware and Maryland by the end of the week. For more information go to www.deweybeerco.com or the Dewey Beer Co. Facebook page.
