Big Chill raises $900 to support Center for the Inland Bays
Big Chill Beach Club donated $900 to the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays. Following a collaborative park cleanup effort held Aug. 28 at Delaware Seashore State Park, funds were raised at a Big Chill dine-and-donate event.
Covering the park's south inlet day use area, volunteers collected and removed trash throughout the parking lots and beach. By quantity, the highest-counted debris reported by volunteers comprised cigarette butts and fishing lines.
“We are always happy to support the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and the effort they make to protect our coastal ecosystems,” said Emily Burns, marketing coordinator for Big Chill Beach Club.
