Central Delaware marriage coaches and authors Mike and Trisha Fox are hosting "Marriage for Today," a weekly web talk show focused on making marriage better.

The show deals with real, down-to-earth issues that affect today's couples and relationships.

Topics include communication, sex, influences, spirituality and overcoming challenges. The "Marriage for Today" show features positive programming, including cancer survivors, authors, speakers and innovators.

The show airs each Saturday at 11 p.m. EST at www.blogtalkradio.com/marriagefortoday. Call-ins are welcome at 302-399-7851 or email info@marriagefortoday.com.

The Saturday, Jan. 26 program will feature special guest Michelle L. Whitlock, award-winning author of “How I Lost My Uterus and Found My Voice: A Memoir of Love, Hope and Empowerment.”

At 26, the author had it all. In the best physical shape of her life, she had a promising career and a budding romance that looked like it could finally be the real thing. Then doctors diagnosed her with invasive cervical cancer.

Whitlock will tell how she took charge of her healthcare and describe her experimental surgery that treated the cancer while preserving her fertility. The surgery was a success, but later - a week after the love of her life proposed -  she discovered her cancer was back.  Whitlock will discuss her response to that second difficult challenge.
