September 23, 2017

Blooming Boutique Accessories in Lewes and Blooming Boutique in Rehoboth will be celebrating Spunkwear's new division, Southwind Apparel, with an Out with the Old and in with the New-themed event this weekend. The Southwind brand includes all the favorite pieces Blooming Boutique has carried this summer including a collection of dress styles, separates and accessories, all of which are created with nylon-spandex fabric that is machine washable, wrinkle-resistant, UPF50 and proudly made in the USA. From Friday to Sunday, Sept. 22 to 24, Blooming Boutique will be offering buy one, get one 25 percent off on all Spunkwear-labeled clothing. In addition to clothing specials, refreshments and candies will be served.

Southwind Apparel, headquartered on Kent Island, Md., is a women's clothing collection established by Sheilah Ruppert under the name Spunkwear in 2009. The company launched on the sidelines of the lacrosse fields with three clothing options: compression shorts, sports bras and headbands, all aimed at young female athletes.

The brand evolved with the introduction of the Original Dress for moms, and gained traction and success by introducing more wardrobe options for women each season.

Recently, on the heels of resounding growth and momentum, the brand began operating a new division called Southwind Apparel to more accurately reflect its place as a true lifestyle collection versus singly athletic apparel. The brand is known for its grab-and-go comfort, effortless styles, and bold, bright prints designed to flatter real women who come in assorted body types.

Southwind is also available on Blooming Boutique's website. For more information, go to www.BloomingBoutique.com, and for the latest releases of new prints and exclusive deals, join the Blooming Southwind VIP group on Facebook.
