Breast cancer update to be held virtually Feb. 10

December 17, 2020

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition announced the 23rd Annual Breast Cancer Update will be held virtually from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, via Zoom.

The update will again be offered as an educational conference free to the public, but registration is required in advance.

The event will feature leading medical breast cancer panel experts and informational resources, offering the latest developments in treatment and care to breast cancer survivors and their families, physicians, nurses, students and allied health professionals.

Certificates of attendance documenting 4 contact hours and 4 continuing education units will be available to nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals.

The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s Annual Breast Cancer Update began as a small scientific meeting to share information with physicians about the latest trends in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. The educational conference has grown to an annual symposium with more than 430 attendees.

The organizers’ goal is to offer programming that empowers the Delaware community in the fight against breast cancer.

For the annual update, the coalition brings nationally renowned speakers in the breast cancer field to educate the community about innovative research, treatment and programs that are available in Delaware.
