Bridgeville man indicted on federal drug, gun charges

A Bridgeville man, 21, was indicted April 7 by a federal grand jury in connection with a drug and weapons charge. Lamir Faison was found in possession of fentanyl, which he intended to distribute, and an AR-15-style rifle, officials with the U.S. Attorney General’s Office said. Faison is prohibited from possessing firearms because of a prior felony conviction.
Faison is charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, one count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. If convicted, Faison faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
