Bridgeville Public Library receives $1K donation

The Bridgeville Public Library recently received a $1,000 donation from Allen Harim. The monies will support public programming and help fund upgrades to the building’s 16-year-old HVAC system.

“We are open to the public a minimum of 45 hours a week, and it’s important to invest in the energy efficiency and reliability of our heating and cooling systems,” said Karen Johnson-Kemp, director of the Bridgeville Public Library. “This support helps us maintain a comfortable, welcoming space for our community.”

Headquartered in Millsboro, Allen Harim is one of the oldest poultry companies in the United States. The company is committed to producing high-quality chicken products while supporting the local communities where its employees live and work.
