Brockstedt to play golf at Notre Dame

Sawyer Brockstedt will be joining the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame women’s golf team.
The Rehoboth Beach resident and outstanding junior golfer recently attended a signing ceremony at Tower Hill School, where she is a senior. She transferred to the Wilmington prep school after her stint at Sussex Academy, where she helped the Seahawks capture the school’s first DIAA state championship.
Brockstedt had two runner-up finishes in the DIAA individual competition, along with other high finishes. She also won three AJGA events and gave impressive performances in USGA tournaments.
