Bucchioni has the courage it takes

August 26, 2022

It takes courage to run for public office.

It takes courage to run for public office as a Democrat.

It takes courage to run for public office as a Democrat in a red county.

It takes courage to run for public office as a Democrat in Sussex County.

It takes courage to run for public office as a Democrat in Sussex County if you’re a “Delawarean by choice.”

Jack Bucchioni has that courage, as witnessed by his past run for state representative in District 20. Sussex County has minimal Democratic representation in the House and Senate, so no surprise he didn’t win. But he didn’t give up. He filed for the state Senate District 6 position in late 2021 and started campaigning immediately. He recognized that the stakes are much higher now, two years later, and he knows what it takes to represent this important coastal region of Delaware. Jack has proven he has the courage and the wherewithal to take on the challenge and bring balance to the current political arena.
