Buddhist Beach Center to host Dharma teaching May 27

Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist Beach Center of Delaware, aka the Bodhichitta Way Foundation, will welcome the public for an evening of meditation and learning from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, on an Introduction to Buddhism: The Four Noble Truths.

These Dharma teachings, taught by Khandro Sherab Drolma, will focus on the basic instructions for meditation, transmission for the practice of Shamatha meditation, practice supports for the path and teachings of the Four Noble Truths.

Meditation from 5 to 6 p.m. will be practiced in increments of sitting and walking. Following meditation, the teachings of the Four Noble Truths will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. with a tea ceremony along with questions and answers.

Khandro Sherab Dolma has been practicing and studying Vajrayana Tibetan Buddhism since 1996. She has studied with various Buddhist masters of Tibet and India. She has received many various high teachings, tantric transmissions, and empowerments from some of the greatest Dzogchen masters of this time.

There will be an Introduction and overview of meditation practices, along with supports for the path, basic principles of intensive concentration meditation, technique, posture, breath, and focus.

There is a suggested donation/dana of $15 but no one one will be turned away for lack thereof.
