Byzantine masses return to St. Edmond's June 28, July 26, Aug. 30

The Catholic Byzantine Rite Eucharistic Liturgy will be celebrated again at St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church, King Charles Avenue and Laurel Street, Rehoboth Beach, on the last Sunday of each month this summer.
Masses will begin at 6 p.m., June 28, July 26, and Aug. 30. Father Volodymyr Klanichka of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Wilmington will celebrate the Divine Liturgy.
This liturgy is enjoyed by many Catholics of Eastern European background and is specifically practiced by many visiting international students at the Delaware beaches.
The Byzantine Rite is under the Pope and in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. The Mass is in English, and will fulfill the Sunday obligation.
All are welcome.
