Calvary Church in Dover to present
 Easter show April 10-14

April 3, 2019

The Creative Arts Ministry of Calvary Church in Dover will present the premiere of “Convinced,” a new original drama, at 7 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, April 10 to 12; at 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, April 13; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, in Calvary’s state-of-the-art sanctuary theater.

Written by the Creative Arts Ministry’s new director Larry Goldberg, “Convinced” is an original show in which two fathers with very different views meet by chance while their daughters are in ballet class. Peter is a scientist who does not believe in God or anything unseen. Andy, a Christian, shares his journey to finding faith and provides the proof Peter needs to begin his own journey.

“To Peter, if it’s not matter, something you can see or touch, it doesn’t matter,” said Goldberg. “Andy brings the Bible to life, from the creation of the universe to the resurrection of Jesus, and shares how he himself went from being a critic to a follower. Will Peter be convinced? We invite audiences to join their journey and find out.”

Featured players in a cast of 70 include Sam Cruz as Andy, Eli Martinez as Peter, and Robbie Mills as Jesus.

Admission is free and open to all, with no reserved seating. Doors open one hour before performances, but seats fill up quickly, so audience members are encouraged to arrive early for the best seats. Nursery care is available.

The address is 1141 East Lebanon Road, on the corner of Route 10 and South State Street, Dover. For more information, call 302-697-7776 or go to www.BeConvinced.org.
