CAMP Rehoboth Flash Fiction reading set June 6

May 30, 2025

A live reading of the winners in Letters from CAMP Rehoboth’s Flash Fiction contest will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, June 6, at the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, and online via Zoom.

Winners were selected by CAMP Rehoboth’s Readers Panel, which consists of five established authors/editors. Awards for the 300-1,000-word short works were announced in the April 2025 issue of Letters, with the winning entries and other select pieces appearing in each month’s issue beginning in April.

“Letters from CAMP Rehoboth was thrilled to launch its first-ever Flash Fiction contest at the end of 2024, and even more thrilled to receive so many outstanding submissions,” said Marj Shannon, Letters editor. “Two local writers will read their own award-winning stories, and invited readers will present stories on behalf of authors unable to participate in person. We cannot wait to share these five terrific stories with our audience!”

Those attending in person are invited to meet and talk with the writers and readers following the reading. Free copies of Letters containing the first- and second-place winners will be available.

Registration is required. At registration, participants will be asked to select in-person or online attendance. To register, go to lewes.lib.de.us or call 302-645-2733.
