CAMP Rehoboth sets food bank donation drive-thru June 4-5
In continuing support of the Food Bank of Delaware, CAMP Rehoboth Outreach Program volunteers will assemble to collect donations of nonperishable items at a drop-off event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 and 5, at 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach. No parking is required for donors to contribute.
The Food Bank’s most-needed items include canned fruits (in light syrup if possible); hot and cold cereals (preferably unsweetened); canned tuna, salmon and chicken; peanut butter; grains including brown and white rice; pasta; macaroni and cheese; canned and dried beans and canned vegetables (low sodium if possible); 100% fruit juice or vegetable juice; and healthy snacks like raisins and granola bars.
Volunteers will accept donations and pack them into the CAMP Rehoboth van for delivery to the Food Bank of Delaware in Milford.
