Cape Business Network supports Epworth UMC food rescue

May 14, 2021

Members of the Cape Business Network presented a check for $1,000 and over 1,000 pounds of food to Gerrie Boisjoly, food rescue coordinator of Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach, on April 29.

The kitchen at Epworth UMC collects and prepares food to feed community members in need. Through the cooperation of Safeway supermarket and the generosity of hundreds of local residents, volunteers from the Cape Business Network were able collect this bounty and donate it to Epworth. To learn more about how to volunteer, donate or support Epworth’s food rescue efforts, contact Gerri Boisjoly at 302-228-3766.

The Cape Business Network includes representatives of the following businesses: Bank of Delmarva, Brain Love Neurotherapy, DC Financial & Consulting Services, Delaware Family Acupuncture, Delaweb Designs, Henlopen Chiropractic, Keller Williams Realty, Parcel Plus, Silver Electric, Sleep Number by Select Comfort - Dover, and Wayne Eichler, EA.

Cape Business Network members thank the community for supporting their services, professions and businesses. Any local business owner or professional interested in joining the network is encouraged to contact the membership committee chair at info@capebusinessnetwork.com.
