I’d just like to give a shout out to the Cape Gazette staff for no special reason.
Basically, I’ve been reading the paper since Dennis Forney and Trish Vernon started it back when. I think the new kids on the block are carrying on quite nicely.
Thanks to Ryan Mavity, my old bud, and Chris Flood, who’s doing yeoman’s work in Rehoboth Beach. Then there’s the always informative Ron MacArthur and Melissa Steele.
Don’t forget the Foodie, Bob Yesbek, Jeff Fried, another old bud, and the zany Ms. Pam Bounds! Finally, two of the most empathic (is that a sports word?) writers, Tim Bamforth and Dave Frederick, the Cape’s answer to Shirley Povich – just don’t tell Fredman!
For you guys I didn’t mention, you’re great too.
